Software Engineer - Machine Vision - LabVIEW - Python - AI

Sciotex is looking for skilled software developers for computer vision, electronics test systems, process control including both standard and AI based systems development. Our developers and designers work on projects related to Manufacturing Automation, Automated Test, Machine Vision, Robotics and Scientific Research. Positions can be either on a full-time or a consulting basis and can be performed hybrid remote and onsite at our location depending on qualifications. The duties generally include: designing, developing, and supporting custom industrial automation, machine vision systems, process control and automated test systems for internal products and a wide variety of industries and research institutions. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills & qualifications: Advanced Degree as a Software Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Physics or another engineering/scientific field. 10 years of experience preferred. Well-developed software development experience with strong success in languages like Python, C , Matlab and/or LabVIEW and with knowledge of AI platforms, control systems or electronics. Solidworks or AutoCAD electrical design experience is helpful. Machine Vision / Computer Vision experience helpful. Strong analytical and design skills and the ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies. Broad technical knowledge spanning a wide range of application areas. Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills as this position will regularly interact directly with clients. Ability to work both alone and on a team with colleagues both remotely and onsite with clients. Discipline and organization with respect to project timelines, software architecture, documentation and support.
