Project Manager - Commercial real estate projects

Location: New York, NYSalary: $90,000 to $120,000Job Description:We're partnering with a global real estate and professional services firm to recruit a Project Manager to support and lead the delivery of commercial real estate projects across New York.This role is suited to a proactive and detail-oriented project manager who can confidently lead day-to-day project activities while working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Projects include commercial interior fit-outs, renovations, AV upgrades, and facilities management or engineering works. You'll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and tracking projects from early definition through delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high professional standard.You will work closely with senior project leaders, contractors, consultants, and client representatives, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.The requirements of the role are:A minimum of four to five years of relevant professional experienceBackground in construction management or real estate is preferredProven ability to develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and riskExperience coordinating vendors and managing RFP processesStrong understanding of commercial relocations, construction, and renovation projectsFamiliarity with architectural drawings, furniture systems, and space planning is an advantageAbility to adapt, prioritize, and meet deadlines while managing multiple projectsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence liaising with architects, contractors, consultants, and client representativesComfortable working both independently and as part of a teamProficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management applicationsWillingness to travel approximately 20 to 25 percent of the timeAbility to be on site four to five days per weekAbout Highline:
