Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Candidates may be asked to float to an equal or lesser acuity unit. May be asked to float to a lockdown unit. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.
