YouTube Producer, Pack HackerThe YouTube Producer, Pack Hacker, develops visual content and optimizes video channels for the Pack Hacker brand. This is a full-time, on-site position in Detroit, MI, and relocation is not offered. Responsibilities:Lead video content ideation and execution to increase organic views on YouTube and social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.)Collaborate with Editorial teams to develop creative conceptsCreate shot lists and produce original photos and videosUnderstand YouTube and social channel platform trends and best practices to optimize video content for SEO, views, likes, and shares on various digital platforms and devicesReview all video & photo content prior to publicationOversee the production team and contract resources, including camera operators and post-production editorsManage archive of footage, photos, and audioDirect talent and crew during shootsManage studio and prepare for shoots, including equipment organization, gear maintenance, and prop sourcingHandle basic graphic design tasks, including thumbnail design execution, video graphics, and other visual support for video and web contentDevelop and maintain visual style guidelines to ensure consistency across all Pack Hacker video and design contentTrain and mentor junior creatives on editing workflows and visual standardsMonitor performance metrics like click-through rate (CTR) on thumbnails and viewer retention to guide content improvementsCollaborate on cross-brand integrations with other AllGear Digital teams to develop unified campaignsBe comfortable stepping in on camera as neededRequirements:4+ years of creative production experience, preferably at a media network or ad agencyStrong portfolio & reel showcasing a variety of work samples and projectsExperience scaling and optimizing content for YouTube and social channelsProficiency / Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite - Premiere, After Effects, Media EncoderExperience with graphic design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, or CanvaExperience working within brand guidelines to maintain a consistent visual identityAbility to create custom graphics and/or work with After Effects templatesStrong client-facing communication and internal collaboration skillsAbility to prioritize and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentKnowledgeable about cameras and audio equipmentAbility to work autonomously and take ownership of projectsExcellent eye for detail and a keen sense of aestheticsBachelor's degree in Film, Media Communications, or related field (preferred)About AllGear Digital:AllGear Digital delivers award-winning outdoor journalism and gear reviews to an engaged audience of active, outdoors enthusiasts.
