Customer Service. You’ll develop market strategies, manage key accounts, and partner with operations to drive profitability and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, sales acumen, and a commitment to excellence.Customer Relationship ManagementBuild loyalty and trust with current and prospective commercial customersVisit accounts regularly to ensure service quality and timely deliveriesAddress customer concerns and turn complaints into complimentsSales Leadership & StrategyDrive sales growth and profitability across the territoryMotivate and lead Commercial Managers and Mobile Sales Reps to achieve targetsDevelop market analysis and action plans for commercial accountsIdentify new business opportunities through face-to-face and phone outreachOperational ExcellencePartner with Operations to ensure smooth customer experience from order to fulfillmentEnsure stocking programs are maintained weekly per policyMonitor store performance and provide feedback to improve service and productivityTeam Management & SafetyLead and coach Commercial AutoZoners to deliver WOW! Customer ServiceEnsure compliance with company policies, loss prevention, and safe driving proceduresMaintain a safe working environment and enforce PPE usageProperly maintain company vehicle and report maintenance issuesReporting & ComplianceAnalyze sales reports and take appropriate actionUnderstand and apply P&L and gross profit principlesFollow accident procedures and ensure driver status complianceWhat We’re Looking ForMinimum 3 years of outside sales experience (automotive industry preferred)Experience managing or leading teams (direct or indirect)Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skillsAbility to travel at least 50% of the time, including overnight travelUnderstanding of sales metrics, customer development plans, and profitability analysisProven integrity, passion, and drive for successYou’ll Go the Extra Mile If You HaveAutomotive industry experience or technical product knowledgeFamiliarity with commercial account management tools or CRM systemsExperience developing and executing territory growth strategiesAbility to coach and mentor sales teams to peak performanceStrong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
