Groundskeeper 1st ShiftBremen Community High School District 228 Midlothian, IL 60445Position: Groundskeeper 1st ShiftStarting Date: TBDQualifications:A high school diploma.Maintain a valid driver's license.Such alternatives to the above qualification as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.Terms of Employment:Work year: Twelve-monthsSalary and fringe benefits to be established by the Board of Education.Performance Responsibilities:See attached job description.Evaluation:Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of Educational Support Personnel.Location of the Position: Tinley Park High SchoolReports To: Building Manager/ChiefArea of Responsibility: Entire outside grounds / Sports fields. Building maintenance as necessary.General Duties:Maintain the appearance of the campus grounds.Empty all trash cans daily.Pick up all trash on grounds daily.Mark and maintain all sports fields.Maintain flower beds and all shrubbery.Ensure that all playing fields are ready in a timely manner.Assist with maintenance when necessary.Responsible for snow removal.Specific Duties:Maintain all grounds equipment (change oil, filters, grease, and keep equipment clean).Keep record of all scheduled maintenance service on equipment.Keep Chief informed of needed supplies.Report broken equipment to Chief.Snow removal when necessary. (Hours will vary).Additional duties as assigned.Terms of Employment: Twelve-month work year.
