As the Director of Patient Finance & Revenue Cycle Management, you will step into a vital leadership role overseeing a collaborative team of 15 across cash posting, claims/denials, and a newly consolidated biologics division. Your mission is to break down departmental silos, bridging the gap between front-desk clinic operations and the central billing office to optimize cash flow. What You'll Actually Do:Provide strategic and hands-on oversight for the entire billing department, including billing, claims, collections, credentialing, and the specialty pharmacy authorization team.Partner closely with front-office clinic managers across multiple locations, providing coaching and training to streamline data collection at the front desk and drastically reduce downstream insurance denials.Optimize revenue cycle workflows within the practice management and EMR systems to maximize reimbursement and cash flow efficiency.Dive into contract analysis and potentially spearhead insurance company negotiations to modernize and standardize payer fee schedules. To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:5+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, ideally within a multi-site physician practice or specialty clinic.Proven management experience leading teams of 5 or more for at least 3 to 5 yearsStrong, empathetic communication style with the ability to build consensus and influence clinic staff through a dotted-line reporting structure.Technical comfort with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, core accounting platforms, and Excel.Solid experience navigating complex denial management, claims processing, and ideally specialty pharmacy/buy-and-bill prior authorization workflows.Resilience and a customer-centric mindset to support your staff through patient collections and high-dollar billing disputes. Where and How Much:Target Compensation: $110K - $130K base plus annual profit-sharing bonus.Schedule: 4/10 schedule. Hybrid flexibility (2 days in-office, 2 days remote) after an initial in-office onboarding period.Location: Denver, COBenefits: 12% 401(k) contribution, 100% employer-paid health insurance premiums for employees, annual bonus structure, and robust PTO.
