Communication Technology Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.This is an exceptional opportunity to join a high-performing team executing large and complex deployments across enterprise, industrial, transportation, and carrier environments.Position OverviewThe Project Manager PM owns the full lifecycle execution of assigned wireless infrastructure projects from Pre- Construction through Closeout. As the designated Project Owner, the PM is the single point of accountability for communication, quality, safety, schedule, and finance on every assigned job. Other people may run point on individual tasks, while the PM ensures everything is being handled on time, accurately, and on budget.A successful PM in this role drives projects toward an ideal outcome: an elated customer satisfied with communication, delivery, and coverage, zero safety incidents, high quality installation, delivery ahead of the schedule, in-line with quoted profit, clean change order management, and a tech team that comes out of the project stronger than before.This position works alongside the DES Construction Manager and reports directly to the Desert Region Operations Manager. The PM takes ownership of scheduling, billing, change orders, and administrative coordination, freeing the CM and Operations Manager to focus on field execution and strategic growth.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Ownership & ExecutionServe as the single point of accountability for assigned projects from Pre- Construction through Closeout, ensuring nothing slips between the cracks across communication, quality, safety, schedule, and financeComplete a thorough Design/Scope/Quote (DSQ) review with the Proposal Owner before kickoffDevelop and maintain project schedules, job trackers, safety plans, submittals, and supporting documentation continually managed throughout projects life cyclePerform regular site visits for preconstruction walks, QA/QC inspections, punch walks, and scope verificationIdentify and manage project dependencies, critical path, and resource allocationProactively manage scope and schedule changesTrack a chronology of events, delays, and changes throughout the jobFinancial Management & TrackingTrack and update project financial health weekly using internal toolsProactively develop cost estimates for scope changes and manage change orders on a weekly basisProject billing tracking and submissionsMaintain working knowledge of financial progress on assigned projectsSubmit weekly job health confirmationsMaterial & Equipment ProcurementCreate material purchase requests and order materials and equipment for assigned projectsCoordinate material and equipment deliveries to align with the project scheduleTrack project assets, equipment certifications, and rental usageCoordinate inventory transfers and manage material logistics across jobsitesWork with Purchasing Dept. for material/equipment pricing, conduct independent material/equipment pricing reviews.Crew & Subcontractor ManagementSchedule and coordinate technician crews for assigned projectsConduct subcontractor scope reviews and proactively manage change ordersCoach, mentor, and supervise project team members and subcontractorsChampion a strong safety culture: ensure JHAs, daily toolbox talks, daily equipment inspections, proper PPE, and weekly safety audits are completedVerify crews have proper tools, materials, training, and project planReport all incidents and safety issuesReview and approve timecards for assigned crewsDocumentation & CommunicationMaintain comprehensive project documentation based on CTS standards, manage and deliver project closeout packages, and creation and tracking of RFIs, submittals, and cost logsDeliver fast, accurate daily updates with completion trackingProvide two-week look-ahead reports on all assigned projectsBuild and maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal CTS teamsQualityCreate project plans to be discussed with leads and techniciansEnsure quality of build and accuracy of exclusion based on drawings and diagramsConduct regular progress photo reviews with internal teamsProvide constructive feedback to leads and crewsTechnical & Design SupportWork with design teams to review design files and design approachesProduce pricing and equipment lists based on up to date informationInterpret blueprints and other project documentsUnderstand process, required time, resources and schedules of DAS Commissioning, Integration and OptimizationMaintain a complete understanding of CTS products and servicesRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience 35 years of project management experience with strong technical background, preferably in telecommunicationsStrong verbal and written communication skills in customer-facing project management with the ability to serve as primary client contactAdvanced knowledge of telecommunications and/or wireless project managementProven ability to manage project finances, including budget tracking, billing, and change order managementAbility to interpret and create project schedules in MS Projects and other toolsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously without losing detail on any of themStrong computer skills: Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio)Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changeSelf-motivated individual with ability to work independently and in team environments with a positive attitudeValid driver's license and ability to travel within the Arizona and New Mexico regionPreferred QualificationsExperience managing tech force crews in deployments such as DAS, Small Cell, ERRCS, or public safety wireless systemsFamiliarity with RF design tools such as iBwavePMP or equivalent project management certificationExperience with large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects, and background in field operations or construction managementWorking ConditionsOffice-based with regular jobsite visits during active construction phasesRegional travel required across Arizona and New Mexico occasional evening or weekend work to support project milestones or urgent client needsActive construction site environments requiring appropriate
