Inside Sales Representative (Bilingual Japanese Preferred)
Location: Torrance, CA
Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $50,000–$55,000 annually
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role supports customer accounts, manages order flow, coordinates with overseas production, and delivers exceptional service. Candidates with Japanese language ability are strongly preferred.

Required Experience & Skills:
English fluency (spoken, written, and reading); Japanese language skills a strong plus
Experience in manufacturing or distribution industries
Minimum 2 years in a customer service or support role
Experience in project management, forecasting, and inventory control
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Office, and Excel
Ability to manage all aspects of order and delivery schedules for overseas production
Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills
Able to work efficiently under tight deadlines
Commitment to providing excellent customer service
Team player with a collaborative mindset
Job Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain customer accounts
Handle inquiries from factories, contract manufacturers, and OEMs
Forecast and manage customer demand, including inventory oversight
Enter orders into ERP systems, schedule assemblies, and coordinate shipments
Follow up with buyers on orders and outstanding inquiries
Update customer orders via Web EDI or open-order reports
Manage and track RMAs (returned materials)
Maintain and distribute marketing tools (catalogs, manuals, software)
Prepare and manage customer quotations
Complete projects and tasks assigned by management
Perform general clerical and administrative duties
