Build your career with the industry-leading fire, life safety and security company.Sonitrol (a Pye-Barker Fire & Safety company) is seeking a Commercial Security Consultant who specializes in growing a new client base within the commercial intrusion, access control, video surveillance & fire alarm verticals. This position requires a strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal skills, an aptitude for technology and the ability to develop industry related partnerships within an assigned territory.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDrive growth by building new customer relationships while maintaining existing ones within an assigned territoryCommunicate with new prospective clients to identify and understand their business and security needs; identify and suggest solutions based on those needsDesign and present integrated security solutions to prospective and existing client baseMaintain an in-depth knowledge of the Sonitrol core product solutions while staying abreast of current market trendsDevelop relationships with relevant industry partnersIdentify new clients by researching and creating networking opportunitiesBuild long-term relationships with new and existing customersUtilize CRM for sales activity and backlog reportingEducation / QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, or relevant fieldA minimum 2 years of outside sales experience requiredExcellent communication, organizational & interpersonal skillsExcellent sales & negotiation skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and relevant softwareOther DutiesAdheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety PolicyPerforms other duties as assignedPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to travelBenefits And PerksExcellent payMedical, dental, visionCompany paid life insuranceCompany paid short-term disability401K with employer matchPaid vacation and company holidaysTraining and Career DevelopmentCompany vehicle (if job applicable)Immediate qualification for the ALL In Ownership Plan for all eligible full-time employeesPye-Barker Fire and Safety is an Equal Opportunity Employer
