The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a range of vehicles and heavy equipment, ensuring all machinery operates efficiently and safely. Day-to-day tasks include performing regular preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, troubleshooting, and conducting repairs on diesel engines and equipment. Proper record-keeping and adherence to safety standards are also essential to this role.QualificationsProficiency in Vehicle Maintenance and Equipment MaintenanceExpertise in Diesel Mechanics, including troubleshooting and repair of diesel enginesExperience working with Heavy Equipment and performing Preventive MaintenanceStrong understanding of safety protocols and standards in the mechanical repair industryAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications are a plusPrevious experience in similar roles within the construction or concrete supply industry is beneficial
