Blockchain Solutions Architect

About Our ClientOur client is one of the fastest growing GovTech companies in the country, recently doubling in size to 15 employees and working directly with state and federal agencies on cutting edge blockchain and data intelligence solutions. This is a newly created role that will serve as the technical backbone of the organization, working directly with the founders and overseeing the current engineering team.MUST HAVE HANDS ON BLOCKCHAIN ARCHITECTURE EXPERIENCEIDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE LOCATED IN TRI-STATE AREAResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain blockchain infrastructure and solutions tailored to the operational and compliance requirements of government agenciesServe as the primary technical lead and subject matter expert on all things blockchain, distributed ledger, and data integrityOversee and mentor the current engineer, serving as the senior technical voice on the teamPartner directly with founders to shape the technical roadmap and align platform capabilities with client needsWork closely with the sales team to support technical demos, RFP responses, and solution scoping for law enforcement, homeland security, and AG office clientsEvaluate and recommend blockchain frameworks, protocols, and third party integrationsEnsure solutions meet the security, compliance, and performance standards required by government procurement and agency stakeholdersRepresent the company at government and industry events as a technical thought leaderQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field5+ years of hands on experience designing and deploying blockchain solutions in enterprise or government environmentsDeep knowledge of blockchain frameworks including Ethereum, Hyperledger, Solana, or similarExperience building solutions for law enforcement, national security, or government agencies strongly preferredBackground in smart contracts, distributed ledger technology, tokenization, and cryptographic protocolsComfortable operating in a fast moving startup environment and working directly with foundersStrong communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical government stakeholdersExperience with cloud infrastructure, APIs, and system integrationsCompensation$200,000 to $300,000 TOTAL compensation (base salary + bonus + meaningful equity)If you have gotten this far ... send an email to with your favorite MOVIE as the SUBJECT of the email (your resume) and why you might be a great fit for this role.
