Location: Apizza Alimentari, Fayetteville, New York Job Type: Full-Time | Reports To: Bakery Manager/ Kitchen Management Position Summary: The Baker is responsible for preparing and baking breads, pastries, and other baked goods while maintaining quality, consistency, and food safety standards. This role supports the daily production of bakery items, ensuring that products are prepared according to recipes and are presented to guests fresh and at the highest quality. The Baker works closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to support bakery production and maintain an organized and efficient bakery workspace. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and bake breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to established recipes. Measure, mix, proof, shape, and bake doughs and batters. Monitor baking times, oven temperatures, and product quality. Maintain consistency in product quality, flavor, and presentation. Assist with production planning and preparation for daily bakery needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of bakery workspaces and equipment. Label, store, and rotate ingredients and finished products according to food safety standards. Assist with inventory management and ingredient preparation. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure bakery items are stocked and available for service. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
