Job Title: Senior SecDevOps EngineerLocation: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)Address: 300 S Brevard St, Charlotte, North Carolina 28202Job Summary:We are seeking a Senior SecDevOps Engineer with strong experience in secure DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, and enterprise deployment environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Harness, OpenShift, and GitHub Actions, along with strong experience in scripting, security, and troubleshooting. This role requires embedding security throughout the software development lifecycle while supporting scalable and reliable DevOps operations.Key Responsibilities:Lead and enhance SecDevOps practices across development, testing, and production environmentsDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Harness, OpenShift, and GitHub ActionsPerform vulnerability scanning, analysis, and remediation in collaboration with security teamsEnsure compliance with security standards, governance, and networking requirementsTroubleshoot complex application and infrastructure issues across environmentsDevelop automation scripts using Python, Shell, Bash, or PerlSupport Java-based applications and SQL-driven systems within DevOps workflowsWork with Kafka and event-driven architectures for scalable integrationsImplement cloud-native and microservices-based deployment strategiesCollaborate with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams in Agile environmentsParticipate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiativesRequired Qualifications:Strong experience as a SecDevOps or DevSecOps Engineer in enterprise environmentsHands-on experience with Harness, OpenShift (OCP), and GitHub Actions (mandatory)Experience with CI/CD pipeline development and automationStrong understanding of security vulnerabilities and remediation processesKnowledge of networking, security controls, and compliance standardsProficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, Bash, or PerlExperience troubleshooting complex systems and applicationsExperience with Java-based environments and SQL databasesFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or PCFExperience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, or GitHub ActionsExperience with databases such as MongoDB, Oracle, or SQL ServerExperience working with Kafka in event-driven systemsExperience working in Agile development environmentsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in financial services or regulated industriesExposure to AI/ML or advanced Python automationExperience with containerization and orchestration technologiesExperience with automated testing tools such as JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, or Cucumber
