Location: Houston, Texas, USA (Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite)Experience: 9–11 YearsEmployment Type: ContractNote: We are considering W2 candidates only for this role.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Test Lead / SDET Test Specialist to join our team and work closely with a leading customer in Houston, Texas. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days per week onsite at the customer office.The ideal candidate is a hands-on testing leader with deep expertise in test automation, API testing, database validation, and agile delivery, capable of driving quality across complex applications.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and execute end-to-end test strategy for applications using modern automation frameworksDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and TypeScriptPerform automated API testing using tools like Postman and related frameworksConduct database testing and validation using SQLCollaborate closely with developers, product owners, and scrum teams in an Agile environmentEnsure high-quality delivery through functional, regression, and integration testingMentor junior testers and provide guidance on automation best practicesSupport testing activities in cloud environments (Azure primarily) Required Skills & Experience8+ years of overall experience in Testing / QA / SDET roles5+ years of strong hands-on experience with:CypressTypeScriptAutomated API testingSQL & database testingPostmanSolid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologiesHands-on experience working in an Azure cloud environmentBachelor’s degree in technology / engineering Nice to HavePython-based test automation experienceBasic to intermediate experience with C#Exposure to AWS cloud servicesManual testing experience for complex scenariosExperience with branch testing strategies
