Senior OTC Trade Operations Specialist

We are partnering with a global financial markets and trading organization on a newly created operations hire supporting a broad OTC product environment across rates, FX, and additional multi asset products. This position will sit within a high performing operations team responsible for managing the post trade lifecycle across complex OTC transactions, with heavy interaction alongside trading, treasury, risk, and external counterparties. Responsibilities:Support daily post trade operations across interest rate derivatives, FX products, and additional OTC instruments. Handle trade validation, confirmations, settlements, and lifecycle processing activities. Investigate and resolve trade breaks, settlement issues, and reconciliation discrepancies.Coordinate closely with trading desks, treasury, counterparties, and internal control teams. Manage payment flows, funding coordination, and operational escalations across multiple currencies. Support reconciliations across cash, positions, and settlement activity.Assist with onboarding new products, operational processes, and platform enhancements. Maintain strong operational controls within a fast paced, high volume trading environment. Qualifications:4+ years of experience within OTC Operations, Trade Support, Middle Office, or Derivatives Operations environments. Strong exposure to interest rate derivatives and FX products required.Experience supporting OTC products including swaps, forwards, and related lifecycle events.Familiarity with SWIFT messaging, settlements, confirmations, and CLS processes preferred. Strong understanding of operational controls, reconciliations, and exception management.Ability to operate effectively in a high touch, fast moving trading environment. Advanced Excel skills required; exposure to SQL, Python, or automation initiatives is a plus.
