Position Summary This remote IT Project Manager 4 position supports the ERP Modernization Program Office and plays a critical role in delivering a major enterprise transformation initiative impacting Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, Supply Chain, Data, and related IT services. The position provides project management leadership for complex ERP technology workstreams, including SAP S/4HANA, data platforms, integrations, cloud technologies, infrastructure, and technical readiness activities. Working closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, system integrators, and program leadership, the successful candidate will ensure projects are planned, executed, monitored, and delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of ERP modernization IT projects and technical workstreams. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, risk registers, issue logs, status reports, and other project management artifacts. Coordinate activities across IT teams, business stakeholders, vendors, system integrators, PMO, and Organizational Change Management teams to ensure successful project delivery. Identify, track, and resolve project risks, issues, dependencies, and action items while managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and stakeholder expectations. Communicate project status, technical information, risks, and decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences and ensure compliance with organizational policies, governance, cybersecurity, and quality standards. Maintain accurate documentation and records related to job functions. Collaborate with internal departments and external partners, as necessary. Ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Promptly report unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or incidents to management. Participate in required training sessions and safety briefings. Perform other duties as assigned to meet operational needs. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of twelve (12) years of experience managing complex IT projects or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience. Expert-level experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closeout. Experience supporting large-scale ERP implementation or modernization initiatives, preferably involving SAP S/4HANA. Strong knowledge of IT systems, cloud platforms, data management, integrations, application architectures, infrastructure, and technical project delivery. Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, system integrators, and business stakeholders. Proven ability to manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables. Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Preferred Qualifications Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master certification. Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations, migrations, or modernization projects. Experience with Databricks, SAP Business Data Cloud, ERP data conversion, integrations, analytics, reporting, or technical architecture workstreams. Experience working within a Program Management Office (PMO) environment. Experience supporting enterprise transformation initiatives involving Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, or Supply Chain functions. Experience in highly regulated government, federal, or DOE environments. Active DOE "Q" clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
