Wood Worker

Job Description Overview:We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our wood shop team. This role involves building custom skids, pallets, and shipping crates used to safely transport industrial equipment. While prior woodworking or carpentry experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.Responsibilities:Construct skids, pallets, and wooden crates according to specificationsMeasure, cut, and assemble materials accuratelyOperate tools such as nail guns, saws, drills, and tape measuresEnsure all builds meet quality and durability standards for shippingMaintain a clean and organized workspacePreferred Skills & Experience:Basic experience with woodworking, carpentry, or constructionFamiliarity with hand tools and power tools (nail guns, circular saws, etc.)Ability to read measurements and use a tape measure accuratelyExperience working with lumber and basic materialsTraits we are looking for:Strong attention to detailDependable and shows up on timeWillingness to learn and take directionGood work ethic, able to stay productive without constant supervisionPhysically capable of lifting and moving materials (50+ lbs)Benefits:401(K)Dental InsuranceHealth InsuranceLife InsurancePaid Time OffRetirement planVision InsuranceRequirements:Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.Must be able to commute to Flemington, NJ 08822• Expected hours• M-F, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM• Optional overtime is occasionally available
