Opportunity: Registered Nurse - CVOR Job Details: - Circulating position in cardiovascular operating room (scrubbing NOT required) - Available shift options: 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts - Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week for 8/10-hour shifts, 36 hours for 3x12 shifts, 48 hours for 4x12 shifts - Call requirements: approximately 100 hours per 6 weeks with 1 call weekend per 6 weeks (Friday evening to Monday morning) - Float required to other OR specialties within the hospital - Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays - 2 years of experience required - First-time travelers accepted if they have Level I Trauma experience - BLS certification required - Travel experience required - Must handle specialized procedures including heart and lung transplants, aortic dissections, and ECMO - Patient ratio of 1:1 - Work with adult and geriatric patient populations - 40 hours of orientation provided - Cerner charting system preferred - Must have Indiana license, compact license, or Indiana temporary license in hand prior to start - Charge pay available with additional compensation - Free parking provided Facility: This major healthcare facility operates as a short-term acute care hospital with multiple units and a total of over 700 staffed beds across various locations. The organization utilizes Cerner charting systems and maintains an average daily census of 70-80 patients with 24 operating rooms available for surgical procedures.
