We are looking for a strong Personal Lines Account Manager who knows how to manage a book, advise clients, and deliver a high level of service without constant oversight.This is not an entry-level role. You will be stepping into an active book of business and will be expected to take ownership, make decisions, and build relationships that last.We are privately owned, which means no layers of red tape. You will work directly with ownership and have the ability to make decisions and move quickly.What You Will DoManage and retain an existing personal lines book of businessNavigate complex market conditions, including non-renewals and placement challengesStrategically remarket accounts and determine optimal placement across standard, E&S, and CA Fair Plan optionsMaintain awareness of carrier appetite, underwriting trends, and market shiftsSupport clients during a claims process as neededAdvise clients on coverage, gaps, and appropriate solutionsRespond to client requests promptly and accuratelyBuild long-term relationships that drive retention and referralsWhat We Are Looking For3+ years of personal lines experience with real account management responsibilityActive California Property & Casualty license requiredStrong understanding of coverage, not just processingAbility to manage a book independently and stay organized under pressureClear and professional communication, both written and verbalConfidence working directly with clients and making coverage recommendationsExperience with agency management systems (EPIC, TAM, or similar preferred) Why This Role Stands OutEstablished agency with a strong reputation and long-term client relationshipsSupport team in place so you are not buried in administrative workFlexibility with hybrid or fully remote structure depending on experienceClear expectations and a team that values accountability and performanceIf you are someone who takes ownership of your accounts, understands coverage, and wants to be part of a team that values doing things the right way, we would like to connect.Apply directly through LinkedIn or send your resume to be considered.
