You will see one patient at a time, and have the friendliest, most relaxed, stress free (ok, low stress) practice in Longmont.If you are feeling undervalued and are looking for a practice that invests in its team, we'd love to talk with you.Responsibilities Provide comprehensive dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planingPerform Periodontal assessments, charting, and oral cancer screeningsCapture and interpret dental radiographsApply fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive therapiesEducate patients on oral hygiene, home care techniques, and overall wellnessAccurately document treatment notes, patient histories, and care plans in practice management softwareCollaborate closely with dentists to create individual treatment plansAdminister local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (as permitted)Maintain strict infection control and OSHA compliance standardsQualifications Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program (Associates degree or higher)Active Colorado Registered Dental Hygiene licenseCurrent CPR/BLS certification (can provide if not current)Strong clinical skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and patient relationship skillsPreferred 1+ year of clinical experienceLocal anesthesia and nitrous oxide permitsPeriodontal therapy, and/or laser dentistry experienceLongmont Peak Dentistry is an equal opportunity employer, All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, and veteran status.
