Description
FII USA, Inc. , a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive process optimization and operational efficiency improvements across manufacturing and business operations. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the Business Continuous Improvement Department in an office/production environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.
The Continuous Improvement Engineer will analyze processes, lead improvement initiatives, and support implementation of data-driven solutions while assisting this Business Continuous Improvement Department as needed.
Responsibilities
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste, improving efficiency, and increasing productivity across operations
Analyze manufacturing and business processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
Develop and implement process improvements using Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for operational issues
Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to improve workflows and performance
Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to support improvement initiatives and decision-making
Develop process maps, workflow documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including cycle time, throughput, labor efficiency, and OEE
Lead Kaizen events, process improvement workshops, and cross-functional projects
Support automation and digitalization initiatives to improve operational efficiency
Identify opportunities to standardize processes and improve consistency across departments
Assist in capacity planning, labor optimization, and workflow balancing activities
Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate project performance and improvement results
Train and support employees on continuous improvement tools, methodologies, and best practices
Support implementation and sustainment of 5S and visual management initiatives
Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business, or related field required
2+ years of experience in continuous improvement, industrial engineering, or manufacturing environment preferred
Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies
Experience with root cause analysis and data-driven problem-solving techniques
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, and KPI reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Experience with Power BI, SQL, or data visualization tools preferred
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience in electronics manufacturing or production environment preferred
Ability to sit, stand, and walk in an office and production environment and lift up to 25 pounds
