From pre-testing to patient education, this role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and comfort for every patient.Key Responsibilities:Verify appointments and assist in preparing patients for their visitsSchedule follow-up and pre-appointments as directed by the doctorHelp maintain recall lists to ensure continuity of patient carePerform diagnostic testing (OCT, Optomap, Visual Fields, Topography, etc.)Record medical histories and assist with contact lens trainingEducate patients on optical solutions, dry eye treatments, and specialty servicesSupport doctors during exams and proceduresCross-train in other roles to support team needsIdeal Candidate:Experience as an optometric technician preferred (will train motivated candidates)Comfortable with technology and medical equipmentStrong relationship-building skills with patients and co-workersCompassionate, with a focus on continuity of care in patient interactionsPatient-focused, detail-oriented, and adaptableTeam player with a "whatever it takes" attitudeBilingual (English/Spanish) a plusCompensation & Benefits:Competitive hourly pay + role-based commissionsMonthly team bonusesPaid vacation, holidays, and sick time50% employer-paid medical + dental (after 90 days)401(k) with up to 4% employer match (after 1 year)Closed Sundays – no late nightsConsistent schedule: Monday–Friday 9am–6pm, Saturday 9am–1pm
