This role is essential in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring compliance with all healthcare standards.Required Skills:Valid Texas nursing license (LVN)Minimum of 1 year, preferably 2+ years, of direct care nursing experienceCompetency in advanced skills such as gastrostomy tubes/enteral feedings, Foley catheters, tracheostomies, etc.Ability to pass a urine drug screen, background check, and FBI fingerprint background checkCurrent CPR certificationValid photo ID and TB documentationCOVID-19 negative test result (provided by us)Nice to Have Skills:Experience working in a correctional or facility-based settingAdditional certifications in specialized nursing proceduresFlexibility to work up to 16-hour shifts and rotational schedules, including every 3rd weekend offPreferred Education and Experience:Licensed to practice nursing in Texas2+ years of direct patient care experience preferredOther Requirements:Ability to work flexible hours, including up to 16-hour shifts if neededMust meet all compliance requirements prior to start dateStart date: April 8, 2026Contract duration: Minimum 24 weeks, with potential for extensionThis is an excellent opportunity to grow your nursing career while earning competitive pay of $37.50 per hour, with travel rates available.
