Overview
Molecular Processing LLC is hiring for plant operator position. Operators work directly with shift supervisors in a team-based environment to support daily operating needs of the facilities distillation systems. Candidates must have a solid foundation in mechanical or industrial systems with ability to follow process flow. This position is directly responsible for transfer and reclamation of liquid chemicals while maintaining safety standards and continuing working towards outlined production goals.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor plant distillation systems.
Perform start-ups, shutdowns, and product changeovers according to SOPs
Continuously monitor process variables (temperatures, pressure, vacuum, flow, levels) and make necessary adjustments.
Complete documentation logs including shift logs, production records, downtime reports, etc.
Troubleshoot system upsets and identify processing problems involving evaporators, reactors, pumps, filtration systems, and boilers.
Product sampling for in-process quality checks and quality control records
Load and unload bulk liquid tankers through hose connection, line verification, valve alignment, sampling, and documentation.
Support safe work practices including lockout/tagout, isolations, and confined space requirements.
Work as part of a team and communicate detailed notes to incoming operational personnel.
Qualifications
High School Diploma Required,
Process Technology Associate of Applied Science Degree, or 2 years’ experience in industrial manufacturing or distillate processing in lieu of degree.
Ability to lift 50lbs. climb stairs and ladders.
Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
Willingness to work in outdoor settings.
Self-Driven with desire for continued professional development.
Willingness to work rotating 8hr. shifts.
Reliable, with team-oriented work ethic.
Forklift Certified and OSHA 10 preferred.
Licensed Boiler operator a plus.
Willingness to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Rotating 8.5 hour shifts.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
