Welder IGEA Group, located in York, PA, is searching for a Welder I to join our Production Team!Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Standard Vessels and Heat ExchangersPerforms all operations in the manufacture of standard separators, receivers, and heat exchangers to required specifications and budgetsAssembles, welds, and installs sub assembly partsWelds internal and external partsInstalls heads and sub arcSub arc wrappersAssembles and welds supports, legs and anglesAssembles and welds water boxesPerforms other duties as assignedStandard Compressor PackagesPerforms all operations in the manufacture of standard compressor packages to required specifications and budgets.Assembles and welds sub assembly partsInstalls package componentsAssembles weld and installs system pipingAssist in training less experienced employeesPerforms other duties as assignedYour Profile / QualificationsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required.Certified Vocational Degrees PreferredMinimum Experience: Vocation Training or Less than 2 related assembly experiencePipe welding (Ability to qualify in a 6G test for Mig, Pulse and Tig)Basic math skillsBasic blueprint readingBasic fabrication skillsComprehension of safety rulesSit, stand, reach, walk for periods of time on concrete surface.Ability to lift / carry 50 lbsSufficient hand, arm and finger dexterity to operate tools and or machineryWillingness to work extended hours when required to support customer satisfactionSupports all continuous improvement and 6S standardsFollow all Safety Policy PPE RequirementsThe typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $21.00 - $28.00 per hour. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
