Construction Equipment Finance- Business Development Manager

Mitsubishi HC Capital America is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager – Construction Equipment Finance to support growth across the South-Central region. This is a relationship driven, dealer centric role focused exclusively on construction equipment lending and leasing. The ideal candidate brings existing Construction Equipment dealer relationships and the ability to begin producing immediately.In this role, you will partner closely with construction equipment dealers, OEMs, and contractors to structure competitive financing solutions that align with customer needs and dealer sales strategies.Mitsubishi offers a stable, long‑term platform, strong credit appetite, and flexibility to compete on structure, service, and relationships... not just rate.This opportunity is best suited for a hands‑on Construction Equipment finance producer who enjoys autonomy, territory ownership, and long‑term relationship building.This is a REMOTE position, and candidates must be located in Texas, Oklahoma, or Louisiana. 🔍 THE ROLE: POWER THE FUTURE OF CONSTRUCTION FINANCEAs a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth within the Construction Finance Division by developing and strengthening vendor, dealer, and customer relationships throughout the South-Central region. You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting through funding, and serve as the face of MHCA within your territory.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and execute the strategic regional growth planLeverage existing dealer, manufacturer, and end‑user relationships to increase revenueProspect, qualify, and close profitable vendor and customer financing opportunitiesGrow existing vendor programs and develop new high‑value partnershipsBuild strong, consultative relationships with dealer principals, finance managers, and customersManage a robust pipeline and track activity to meet sales KPIsWork transactions from deal submission through fundingGather required documentation, negotiate terms, and facilitate credit reviewPartner closely with Credit & Operations to ensure best‑in‑class turnaround and serviceSupport negotiation, structuring, and execution of financing agreementsRepresent the company professionally through frequent in‑person travel within territory🛠️ WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLEBachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)6+ years of experience in the construction finance industry in a sales capacityAn established book of business within the construction equipment finance space; existing relationships with dealers, manufacturers and end‑users in the South-Central regionStrong understanding of equipment leasing and the construction/industrial equipment marketSkilled in reviewing financial statements to support high quality deal preparationAbility to engage confidently with dealer principals, finance managers, and customersFamiliarity with commercial credit, credit bureaus, and funding processesExcellent problem solving, organizational, and time management skillsProven ability to develop and cultivate strategic relationshipsStrong presentation skills, professionalism, and follow throughMust be able to travel frequently, including overnight stays💰 COMPENSATION: $100,000 – $124,000; based on experience.
