Registered Behavior Technician
Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with autism, implementing individualized care plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Your primary focus will be to support clients in achieving their behavioral goals while ensuring their safety and well-being in a positive environment.
Responsibilities
Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs, focusing on skill development and behavior modification.
Provide direct patient care and support to children with autism, promoting social skills and daily living activities (ADLs).
Collect and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with behavior analysts to monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
Assist clients in developing communication skills and coping strategies through structured activities.
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients during sessions, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.
Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills related to behavioral health and applied behavior analysis.
Qualifications
Experience working with children, particularly those on the autism spectrum, is preferred.
Familiarity with care plans, medical terminology, and medical documentation is highly desirable.
Knowledge of behavioral health practices and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Understanding of patient care techniques and the ability to assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs).
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
