Field Service Technician
Completes service duties on all levels. Responsible for repairing and maintaining security systems after installation. Evaluates and provides feedback on any current and upcoming service calls, as well as technicians performing all work. Provides on-site directive to team while maintaining expected priority levels of projects and assisting on installs. Keeps up to date on emerging technology and assists with selection of new products and manufacturers. Ensures all work assignments are successfully implemented and maintained to company standards to include supporting sales, customer services, technical, equipment, training and orientation to meet or exceed standards and forecasts.Scope of Work:Assists the Project and Service Managers with assessing priority and scheduling of work activities and timely delivery of equipmentMeets with clients to discuss concerns or issues with the performance of the systemUtilizes diagnostic tools to assess the performance of various components of various systemsIdentifies problems and potential problems, appiles solutions and engages in troubleshooting efforts until a solution is foundUpgrades and modifies existing installations to improve the performance or stability of the systemPerform routine and preventative maintenance to catch issues before they become a problem for the end userPrograms and configures commercial electronic security systems including door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, low voltage communication, signaling devices, etc.Reviews all work to ensure the systems are functioning properly and satisfy local code requirementsDemonstrates the company core values as a highly skilled leader on the technician teamManages multiple projects simultaneously within approved hours and margin tolerancesCompletes miscellaneous tasks as assigned by managers and/or supervisorsFollows all OSHA standardsOther tasks as assigned by managementRequirements:Ability to be on-call on a rotational basisMinimum 3 years of experience in the low-voltage security industryPossess the ability to develop and present information to team members and clientsPossesses advanced troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitudeMust be detail-oriented and highly organizedDelivers product training to end-usersStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Teams)Overnight travel may be required on an as-need basisMust be able to work in various environmental conditionsMust be able to lift 50 lbs.Must be able to work in confined spaces and on ladders and lifts at various heightsMust possess a valid PA driver's licenseMust be able to pass a drug and alcohol testLeadership:Provides leadership and positive attitude.Directs resources to technicians for any assistance needed during service callsProvides technicians expressive examples of proper work ethics, following company standards and expectationsBecomes a champion for change and growth within the department and overall companyPay range: $23.01 to $28.00 per hour2 Krew provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation and training.Powered by JazzHR
