We are unable to sponsor at this time"Job Title: Dataiku Engineer Data & AnalyticsLocation: Hybrid, 1-2 days/week in Oakland, CA, Rancho Cordova, CA or Alpharetta, GA.Duration: 6-12 months;Special Notes: The customer is looking for more of a enabler to help build and deploy models, not a developer. They are looking for more data scientist experience and not a data engineer... who would help building models with Dataiku, and help with tuning and production.Must-Have Requirements:Extensive experience with Dataiku (over 5 years) -Strong communication + collaboration skills. Will be leading weekly meetings with other Data Scientist. -Candidate must reside near a Delta Dental office location (Oakland, Rancho Cordova, Alpharetta, etc.) -Candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship now or in the future (FTE conversion eligibility required) -Role is starting as a contract need but may convert to perm if a solid fit for the teamKey Responsibilities:Leverage deep expertise in Dataiku (and Azure ML) to support business data scientists in defining, developing, tuning, and deploying ML models.Provide guidance and mentorship to data scientists and development teams on ML best practices from ideation to deployment.Serve as an Advanced Analytics Product Owner: identify and prioritize new ML use cases, track progress and risks, and coordinate resolution efforts.Drive thought leadership on Advanced Analytics governance, including ethical and legal guidelines.Build, validate, and implement predictive models in support of strategic initiatives or AI/ML proof-of-concepts; clearly present findings to stakeholders.Analyze current data-related processes and lead process improvement initiatives.Must-Have Requirements:Extensive experience with Dataiku (over 5 years)Strong communication + collaboration skills. Using LLMs, Agentic AI type work, predictive modeling.Lead weekly meetings with other data scientists.An AI/ML evangelist. 4-5 predictive models in flight, more coming.
