Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to medical staff and ensure the comfort and well-being of patients.
Duties
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, and grooming
Take vital signs and record patient information
Provide emotional support to patients and their families
Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
Perform basic medical procedures under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers
Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
Requirements
Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred
Familiarity with dementia care, hospice care, emergency medicine, behavioral health, and medical terminology is a plus
Knowledge of Cerner or similar electronic health record systems is advantageous
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, such as a Level II Trauma Center
Proficiency in tasks like catheter care and operating room (OR) procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
