The Cargo Warehouse/Forklift OperatorI.K. Hofmann is looking for an immediate long-term contract opening for a Cargo Warehouse/Forklift Operator in Atlanta, GA for a Cargo facility.We are looking for ambitious and detail-oriented individuals to perform faced paced warehouse cargo work, under supervision. They need to be flexible to work different shifts.The Cargo Warehouse/Forklift Operator is responsible for:Load and unload cargo on TrucksPerforms duties on the runway/warehouse based on the needs of the client you are assignedOperate ForkliftTie Down PalletsBuild PalletsConnect and operate ground support equipmentCommunicate effectively with all teammates and other runway personnelMinimum Essential Functions:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.Frequently moves cargo in the warehouse weighing up to 50 pounds.The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the warehouse and office to access cargo shipments and airwaybills.Work Environment:Are sometimes exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures.Occasionally work in extremely bright or dim lighting conditions.Workspaces may not be temperature-controlledWork near others. They often share the same workspaceOften work indoors but may sometimes work outdoors.
