Mammography Technologist
Mammography Technologist Provides quality diagnostic and screening mammography services; assists in Radioactive seed localizations, fine needle aspirations, breast ultrasound core biopsies, stereotactic breast core biopsies, breast cyst aspirations, and breast ultrasound exams; participates in the coordination of center activities and patient flow with multidisciplinary clinics within the Institute, referring physicians and patients outside of the Institute. The pay range for this position is $32.61 - $38.04 hourly which includes a comprehensive benefits package. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience. Qualifications Required Education and Experience License and Certification Requirement 1. License to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of New York. 2. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification with advanced certification in mammography or meets the MQSA standards which requires completion of at least 40 contact hours of documented training specific to mammography, with a minimum of 25 examinations, under the supervision of a qualified instructor. 3. Current Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Education and Experience 1. Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology. NOTE: 1. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification with advanced certification in mammography within one (1) year of their appointment to this title. 2. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain the certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within ninety (90) days of their appointment to this title. 3. Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
