Design DrafterDepartment: EngineeringEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: Liberty, SCReporting To: Scott SchollDescriptionThe Design Drafter is responsible for planning and designing a variety of products using CAD equipment. This role works closely with the engineers in the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the design of a variety of products including the layout, assembly, and detailed drawings of complete productsEvaluates finished work for accuracy, complete projection of views and cost-effective tolerancesPrepares a variety of detailed drawings per standard drafting practiceResponsible for reviewing engineer change noticesMaintains CAD materials and supplies for CAD operationsPromotes a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
