OverviewDoctor of Medicine | Neurology - General/OtherLocation: Atlanta, GAEmployer: AAS Locum TenensPay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details)Start Date: ASAPAbout the PositionLocumJobsOnline is working with AAS Locum Tenens to find a qualified Neurology MD in Atlanta, Georgia, 30366!We are seeking a Telehealth Cognitive Care Neurologist to deliver expert, compassionate care to patients with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and related cognitive disorders through a fully virtual model, expanding access to specialized neurology care nationwide.In this role, you will conduct comprehensive tele-neurology evaluations, manage complex neurodegenerative conditions, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team—including APPs, behavioral health specialists, and care coordinators—to provide coordinated, patient-centered care. You will also serve as a clinical leader, supervising APPs across multiple states and ensuring compliance with clinical and telehealth standards.Compensation & Benefits: $260,000 - $276,000 plus full benefitsRequirements:MD or DO from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an accredited Neurology residencyFellowship training in Behavioral/Cognitive Neurology or equivalent clinical experience strongly preferredBoard Certification in NeurologyActive, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state; multi-state licensure or IMLC eligibility preferredMinimum of 3 years of clinical experience managing patients with memory or cognitive disordersDemonstrated proficiency with telemedicine platforms and virtual neurological assessmentsStrong clinical expertise in cognitive evaluation, dementia management, and interdisciplinary collaborationExcellent communication skills across virtual patient, family, and team interactionsCommitment to empathetic, patient-centered care and continuous professional developmentPreferred Qualifications:Fellowship training in Cognitive and Behavioral NeurologyPrior experience supervising APPs in a telehealth or multi-state practice modelFamiliarity with amyloid-targeting therapies and other emerging treatments for Alzheimer’s diseaseExperience working within integrated, interdisciplinary, or value-based care modelsAbout AAS Locum TenensAAS Locum Tenens was founded by healthcare leaders who understand your career needs, guaranteeing the highest level of service and commitment.
