Our cooks are the heart of our operation, and you'll join a team serving up fresh and seasonal food. Like our award winning pumpkin pancakes made with a secret, scratch-made batter, cooked to a golden, fluffy perfection, and topped with cinnamon butter and a tres leches drizzle! A good candidate for this job is a person with attention to detail who can keep the kitchen tidy and clean all while preparing, cooking, and arranging food together with the rest of our kitchen staff. We are looking for someone to work as a team player, follow instructions, and help us delight our customers with delicious food from our menu. In addition to cooking prowess, great communication and organizational skills are paramount. Job Summary Assist kitchen team and coordinate food orders Maintain sanitation and safety standards in all BOH Complete kitchen tasks like line set up, food prep and breakdown Clean and maintain kitchen equipment Create, maintain, and update pars for daily needs Assist in ordering of all products and taking inventory Assist in checking in and putting away all deliveries Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized Fulfill all cleaning lists daily, weekly, etc…. Assist team members in other areas as needed Job Requirements Flexibility to work any shifts, including weekends Ability to move or lift up to 50 pounds Prior cooking experience, ideally in a restaurant setting Prepare all food to recipe standards Familiarity with kitchen fundamentals, as well as sanitation and safety regulations High level of stamina to work on your feet for extended periods of time Have a great attitude and desire to learn and excel at your job (training will be provided!) Ability to work well in a stressful and fast-paced environment Team-oriented Be on time, be dependable! Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
