Responsibilities Prepare food items quickly and accurately following established recipes and safety standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and ensuring the restaurant remains inviting for all guests Manage cash register transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment with accuracy Support team members during busy periods by multitasking between food prep, serving, and cleaning duties Experience Previous experience in food service or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures is advantageous Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for handling transactions, giving correct change, and managing retail math calculations Experience working in a café, grocery store, or retail setting can be beneficial for understanding customer interactions and food handling protocols Enthusiasm for working as part of a team with excellent communication skills to deliver outstanding service Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering quick, friendly service while honing your skills in the vibrant world of food industry operations.
