Our teams create environments where students feel supported, safe, and proud to call home.Job PurposeThe Leasing Consultant supports leasing, marketing, and resident relations by delivering excellent customer service, supporting occupancy goals, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and company policies.Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent customer service to residents, prospects, guests, and vendorsLease apartments in alignment with occupancy and revenue goalsFollow Fair Housing standards in all interactionsConduct tours and present community features and amenitiesSupport marketing and outreach effortsReview applications including income, credit, and background screeningPrepare and maintain lease files and required documentationVerify apartment readiness prior to move-inSupport lease renewal and retention effortsTrack leads, guest cards, and follow-ups in property management systemsRespond to calls, emails, and resident communication professionally and timelyAssist with work order entry and maintenance communicationSupport move-in processes including documentation and system setupMaintain leasing office, model units, and amenity presentationMaintain knowledge of market competitors, pricing, and concessionsMaintain a thorough knowledge of lease terms, unit specifications, availability, current market conditions, and all community policiesEnsure understanding of required application information, screening process, policies, and proceduresQualificationsStrong customer service and sales skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to understand and explain lease documentsStrong attention to detail and organizationAbility to multitask and manage time effectivelyAbility to maintain confidentialityAbility to work independently and in a team environmentBasic math skills including percentages and rent calculationsAbility to work weekends and peak leasing season schedulesComfortable using social media platforms and creating posts for marketing, outreach, and community engagementEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED requiredBachelor’s Degree preferredLeasing, sales, marketing, or customer service experience preferredApply TodayIf you are motivated by relationship building, sales performance, and contributing to a high-impact community team, we encourage you to apply and explore career growth opportunities with University Partners
