This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a foundation in programming and wants to continue developing their skills while working alongside an experienced senior developer. We are *not looking for someone who knows everything on day one*. We're looking for someone who is curious, motivated, enjoys solving problems, accepts feedback, asks questions, and has a genuine desire to learn. A college degree is *not required*. We welcome candidates who have developed their programming skills through professional experience, internships, college coursework, coding bootcamps, personal projects, or self-directed learning. What You'll Do As a Junior Programmer, you will help maintain and improve QT's existing applications while gaining experience across the full application stack. Your responsibilities will include: * Maintain and support existing software applications * Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve bugs and application issues * Assist with developing and implementing new application features * Work with *HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, Bootstrap, and Web Forms* on the front end * Work with *C#* within API and business application layers * Write and work with *SQL queries* on the backend * Learn the existing application architecture and codebase * Test and troubleshoot application changes * Work alongside an experienced developer to strengthen your programming skills * Ask questions, receive feedback, and continuously expand your technical knowledge * Take on increasingly complex development responsibilities as your skills and familiarity with the applications grow What We're Looking For Our highest priority is finding someone with the *ability and desire to learn*. Ideal candidates will have: * A foundational understanding of programming concepts * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills * Exposure to *C# or another object-oriented programming language* * Basic understanding of *HTML and web development fundamentals* * Familiarity with *SQL and database concepts* * Exposure to *JavaScript* * Willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies and existing codebases * Ability to receive feedback and apply what you've learned * Strong communication skills and a willingness to ask questions * Ability to work collaboratively with other team members *Professional C# experience is not required.* Candidates with experience in another object-oriented programming language who demonstrate strong programming fundamentals and a willingness to learn C# are encouraged to apply.
