Staff, Software Engineer_BACKEND
Overview
In this role you will lead the development of scalable platform capabilities, including infrastructure, tooling, and AI/ML frameworks. You’ll drive the full software lifecycle with cloud-native designs and high-quality system architecture. You will mentor engineers and collaborate across functions to translate business needs into effective technical solutions. You’ll work on AI-driven features within Walmart’s BuyBox ecosystem to improve offer ranking and system reliability. This is a hands-on, impact-focused leadership position at Walmart’s Sunnyvale office with a strong emphasis on innovation and data-driven decisions.
