Sr. AWS Cloud DevOps EngineerOur client is looking for a Senior AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity with an outstanding organization.What you will be doing:Leading the implementation of Cloud tools and Technologies.Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy AWS applications at the direction of lead architects, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modelling, and advanced analytics. Candidate does not have to be an expert in data and analytics but must be willing to learn these areas.Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for AWS solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assuranceTroubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measuresEducate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as requiredEmploy exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivityWhat you bring:5+ years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms especially EKSExperience with modern DevOps tooling (e.g. Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes)Understanding of and experience with the five pillars of a well-architected frameworksUnderstanding of the value of automation, Continuous Integration and Continuous DeliveryProven ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject matter expertsAdded bonus if you have:Experience in several of the following areas: database architecture, ETL, business intelligence, big data, machine learning, advanced analyticsExperience in DevSecOps practicesExperience of big data pipelines and orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, DBT, Jenkins)Must Have:Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and distributed networks – Is a must.DevOps Experience – Terraform/Jenkins is a mustProficient with container systems like Docker and container orchestration like EC2 Container Service, Kubernetes, worked with Terraform.Experience with Docker orchestration and Docker containerization using Kubernetes.
