Position DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to join our Technology organization building Alternative Investments platform. This position is ideal for a client‐obsessed, strategic thinker with deep analytical skills who thrives at the intersection of business operations, data and product innovation. Your role will blend leadership and planning expertise with a passion for delivering results. This role requires a self‐starter who can champion collaboration and cultivate a close partnership with business and the development teams to help craft and implement solutions on both client and server‐side technologies.This is a Full Time Employment Opportunity based in the Dallas TX Area, currently in a Hybrid Working Model.Future Duties and ResponsibilitiesAnalyze, design, and document end to end system interactions across multiple applications and servicesDevelop detailed solution requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and data mapping for moderate to complex systemsEvaluate existing systems and recommend improvements to enhance performance, scalability, and maintainabilitySupport modernization initiatives, including migration to new platforms, services, and integration patternsWork with REST, SOAP, JSON, and API based integrations to support new and existing capabilitiesUse SQL to analyze data, validate logic, and support troubleshootingInterpret code and technical architecture to understand system behavior and business logicProduce business flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, and system interaction documentationPartner with product owners, architects, business analysts, and engineering teams to define and refine requirementsParticipate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release readinessCoordinate release activities and ensure smooth deployment of new features and enhancementsCommunicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‐technical audiencesInvestigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend long‐term fixesWrite Splunk queries and build dashboards/alerts to monitor system healthSupport continuous improvement of monitoring, alerting, and operational processesApply Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices using Gherkin/Cucumber where applicableRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience as a product analyst, business analyst, or similar role in a digital or operational transformation environment focused on customer or associate facing solutions.Strong understanding of operations workflows and processes, preferably in financial services or other regulated industry.Ability to translate technical requirements and operational processes into intuitive, actionable product requirements.Demonstrated experience informing product strategy and delivery, including opportunity identification, solution design, and working with technology teams for delivery.Proficient with tools such as JIRA, JIRA Align, Confluence, Miro, or other analytics and product planning tools.Experience with Alternative Investments, Digital Assets, Private Market, Liquid Alternatives is required.Proficient with agile development methodologies and working with cross‐functional product teams, engineering teams and business stakeholders.Strong communicator with proven stakeholder management and storytelling skills; effectively conveys verbal and written in technology terms with usage of data and visualizations.Problem‐solver that can identify issues, explore solutions and identify next course of action.Ability to have hard conversations with business stakeholders through strong presentation skills of the data and analysis that helps influence the outcome of their decisions.Experience with understanding of SQL, relational database and data model and fluency with API contracts preferred.Desired QualificationsFamiliarity with enterprise architecture concepts.Experience with platform modernization or cloud native transformation initiatives.Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Gherkin/Cucumber).CompensationCGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit‐based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
