Stator Winder Electrical ManufacturingPosition SummaryThe Stator Winder is responsible for the insulation, coil winding, and electrical hook-up of stators used in industrial motors and generators. This role follows established standard work, utilizes hand and power tools, and performs tasks according to detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, and quality specifications. Candidates must demonstrate mechanical aptitude, accuracy, and adherence to manufacturing safety practices.Primary ResponsibilitiesPrepare and insulate stator cores following documented procedures and engineering specificationsWind coils and perform electrical hook-ups using approved methods and toolingInterpret wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and production travelersUse hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to complete winding and assembly operationsConduct inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with manufacturing standardsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area per company safety and 5S requirementsSupport additional production tasks or duties within the job classification as assignedRequired Skills & ExperienceExperience in production, mechanical assembly, or electrical assemblyAbility to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical printsCompetent using torque tools, gauges, meters, and measuring instrumentsStrong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanshipAbility to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs in a manufacturing environmentPreferred Qualifications13 years of experience in stator winding, motor assembly, electrical assembly, or related workFamiliarity with electrical testing equipment and insulation materialsPrevious experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (ISO 9001 preferred)Knowledge of coil winding processes or electromechanical assemblyCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive wages with bonus opportunitiesDay-one eligibility for medical, dental, and vision benefitsIndustry-leading 401(k) program with exceptional company matchPaid time off, paid holidays, and additional wellness resourcesTuition reimbursement and skills-development programs to support long-term career growthWork EnvironmentThis position operates on the production floor in an industrial manufacturing setting. Team members regularly work with hand and electrical tools, stand for extended periods, and lift materials up to 50 lbs.
