About the Role
Foresight Construction Group is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the successful delivery of large-scale institutional and commercial projects ranging from $500K–$50M.
This role is ideal for a construction professional who is ready to take the next step in their career — someone who thrives in structured environments, values precision, and wants to grow into a full Project Manager role over time.
The Assistant Project Manager plays a critical role in supporting project execution from planning through closeout, ensuring strong communication, financial control, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Project Administration & Documentation
Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and document control
Assist with contract administration and compliance tracking
Maintain organized and accurate project records
Budget & Cost Control
Support job cost tracking and forecasting processes
Assist with reviewing pay applications and monitoring financial performance
Help ensure projects remain aligned with budget targets
Schedule Coordination
Assist in developing and updating project schedules
Track key milestones and proactively identify potential impacts
Support coordination efforts to maintain schedule integrity
Stakeholder Communication
Maintain clear and professional communication with owners, architects, and trade partners
Coordinate internal team updates and documentation
Support project meetings and reporting
Field Collaboration
Partner closely with Superintendents to resolve field issues
Participate in jobsite visits and coordination meetings
Assist with punch lists and closeout documentation
Qualifications
1+ years of commercial construction experience
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Working knowledge of construction scheduling and cost control principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
