Mechanical Electrical AssemblerWe are working on building autonomous delivery robots from the ground up and other automation solutions as part of Client's core delivery platform. If you have a passion for applying AI and robotics solutions in a service used by millions of people, then we want to talk to you! You're excited about this opportunity because you will:Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical production units and subassemblies according to released drawings, work instructions, and build documentationPerform repeatable production builds of wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, and electro-mechanical integrations to defined quality standardsInstall and connect compute, control, power, and sensor systems following established proceduresConduct prescribed functional tests, inspections, and basic calibration steps to verify build completeness and qualityIdentify build defects, missing components, or out-of-spec conditions and escalate issues to manufacturing or engineering leadsRework or repair production units as directed using approved processes and documentationMaintain organized workstations, tools, and production materials to support efficient throughputSupport kitting, material handling, and inventory accuracy for production buildsFollow ESD, safety, and quality requirements during all assembly and test activitiesAccurately record build status, serial numbers, and production data in tracking systemsAssist with factory integration, final assembly, and shipment preparation as neededProvide feedback on work instructions and tooling to improve clarity and repeatabilityWe're excited about you because you have:A minimum of 2 year experience in a manufacturing or similar environment, such as aerospace, construction, automotive, or electrical service industriesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawing and schematicsSafely use hand tools, power tools, hydraulic and pneumaticsWork in a stimulating, demanding, and rapidly advancing environment at the forefront of technological innovationBasic English skills - ability to read and understand written instructions and effectively communicate verballyPreferred experience includes:The Assembler is tasked with a broad scope of work within a fast-moving manufacturing floor, with a primary focus on completing the final product buildConnect wires between individual component leads, connectors, terminals, and contact pointsPerform electrical wire terminationsDisassemble, modify, rework, refurbish, and reassemble components as requiredProduce electrical or electro-mechanical sub-assemblies by following specifications laid out in engineering prints, diagrams for wiring, lists of components, wire inventories, preliminary sketches, and direct verbal instructionThe role frequently requires walking, extending arms and hands for reach, bending, stooping, kneeling, and low-level movementRegularly required to ascend stairs, steps, and use vertical laddersFrequently required to work on elevated platformsPerform work overheadOccasionally lift and move at most 40 poundsEssential vision capabilities include clear close-up and distance vision, color differentiation, peripheral viewing, depth perception, and the ability to maintain focus.
