About the OpportunityWe are proud to be supporting a rapidly scaling, U.S.-based energy infrastructure business that is seeking a Salesforce Administrator with development capability to support its field services technology platform.This organisation is experiencing significant growth, driven by long-term demand across large-scale industrial and data-driven infrastructure projects. Technology sits at the centre of its operations, and Salesforce plays a critical role in enabling field execution, service delivery, and operational visibility.This role will take ownership of the day-to-day administration, user support, and ongoing configuration of a Salesforce environment, including a ServiceMax implementation. It suits someone with a strong administrative foundation who enjoys being close to the business, supporting users directly, and gradually expanding into development work.You will work closely with field operations and internal stakeholders, helping shape how the platform evolves as the company continues to scale.Essential FunctionsAdminister and maintain Salesforce environments, including user accounts, profiles, roles, permission sets, and license managementAct as a primary support resource, ensuring timely and effective resolution of user issuesManage platform configuration including objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and workflowsSupport onboarding and training of new Salesforce usersContribute to development tasks including Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative automationMaintain clear documentation of system configurations and processesPartner with stakeholders across operations and IT to identify requirements and deliver platform improvementsKey Skills and QualificationsStrong communicator, able to engage both technical and non-technical users clearly and directlyOwnership mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive issues through to resolutionProblem-solver who looks for ways to improve systems and processesAdaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environmentCollaborative team player with strong personal accountabilityDriven, with a genuine interest in contributing to a growing organisationExperience / Education2–4 years of Salesforce administration experience requiredSalesforce Administrator certification preferredExperience supporting a large and diverse user base in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsExposure to Salesforce development concepts (Apex, Flows, Lightning Web Components)Ability to work independently and manage competing prioritiesMust be based in the Houston, TX area and able to work on-sitePreferred QualificationsServiceMax administration, configuration, or implementation experienceServiceMax certificationExperience supporting field service or operations-focused teamsFamiliarity with Salesforce release management and deployment best practices
