Job DescriptionGrant Thornton has established a Data & Analytics function under the Chief Technology Officer. This team is leading a firm-wide transition to a modern cloud data warehouse built on Snowflake, supporting ongoing acquisitions, global system integrations, and a large-scale ERP rollout.Grant Thornton is hiring three (3) mid-level Data Engineers to support this transformation.The Data Engineer will design, build, and support data pipelines and integrations that move enterprise data into Snowflake and downstream analytics platforms. This role supports large-scale data warehouse migrations, country-by-country global integrations, and continued system onboarding tied to acquisitions.This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role requiring strong SQL and Python skills, experience with modern cloud data platforms, and the ability to collaborate closely with other engineers, analysts, and project teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines, primarily into SnowflakeIntegrate data from enterprise systems including Oracle HCM, Dynamics CRM, and ERP platforms (SAP public cloud rollout beginning later this year)Support ongoing global integrations (Ireland already live; multiple additional countries in progress)Perform data mapping, transformation, and validation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usabilityWrite and optimize complex SQL queries and Python-based data transformationsSupport modular data modeling and transformation frameworks (e.g., dbt)Monitor data pipelines and resolve issues related to performance, data quality, and reliabilityCollaborate with data engineers, analysts, and architects as part of a team-based delivery modelContribute to data quality practices and documentation across the data platformWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
