WANTED: Experienced FCAW Structural Steel Welders We are currently seeking several skilled FCAW Welder to join our team in a fast-paced structural steel fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will have proven experience of welding to AWS D1.1 Structural Steel Code and be capable of producing high-quality welds consistently. Job Requirements: Proficient in FCAW welding using 1/16" flux-cored wire with 100% CO₂ shielding gas Experience welding structural steel in accordance with AWS D1.1 Must be able to pass a weld test: 1" A36 grade test coupon No backing Back weld required after arc gouging the root 3G (vertical) position Welds must pass UT Knowledge and ability to follow preheat requirements per AWS D1.1 Capable of working efficiently in a high-production shop environment Ability to maintain welding equipment in safe, proper working condition Must supply and use appropriate personal welding gear to perform work safely Preferred Qualifications: Strong attention to weld quality and code compliance Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team If you are a qualified structural FCAW welder looking for steady work with a professional shop, we encourage you to apply.
