Senior Accountant

We have partnered with a growing organization in Oak Brook that is seeking a Senior Accountant, with the intention of promoting this individual into an Accounting Manager role based on strong performance.This role will play a critical part in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, bringing payroll and accounting functions in-house, and helping build scalable financial processes for a rapidly expanding business. They are projecting to double in size within 2-3 years.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and financial reportingManage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including Invoice processing, Payment runs, Collections, Account reconciliations,Process payroll accurately and on schedule while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policiesMaintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation for audits and reportingPerform financial analysis and reporting using advanced Excel functions, including Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Formulas, Data manipulation and analysisWe are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with 8-15 years of experience. Compensation is around $110-120K all in, and they run an in-office schedule, however they are planning to move into a hybrid model in 2027.
