We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a long-term contract opportunity in Camden, Arkansas. This role is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of clinical laboratory experience who are looking to grow within a hospital laboratory setting. The MLT will be responsible for performing routine and specialized laboratory testing, processing specimens, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic results while following all laboratory safety and quality standards. Responsibilities:• Perform laboratory testing on blood, urine, tissue, and other specimens• Prepare, process, and analyze specimens according to laboratory procedures• Maintain accuracy of results through quality control procedures• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment• Maintain laboratory documentation and patient records• Follow infection control, laboratory safety, and regulatory guidelines• Collaborate with healthcare staff regarding laboratory findings and results Requirements:• Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field required• 1–2 years of clinical laboratory experience preferred• ASCP or AMT certification preferred• Experience in areas such as Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology, or Biochemistry preferred• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills• Ability to work in a team-oriented healthcare environmentAbout MedCadreAt MedCadre, headquartered in Irvine, California and serving healthcare organizations nationwide, we connect exceptional clinicians with world-class career opportunities while upholding the highest standards of ethics, fairness, and integrity.
